Tom Koval – Director of Dining & Executive Chef
Growing up spending time in the kitchen instilled in Chef Tom Koval a passion for gathering people together over delicious homemade meals. Whether starting his own catering business at a young age, cooking at an Italian fine dining restaurant or battling in team culinary competitions, Tom has always valued working hard, learning and growing as a chef. He brings these strengths and passion to his position as Director of Dining & Executive Chef at Highpoint and leads the dining team with an emphasis on exceptional food quality and top-notch hospitality.
While his culinary inspirations encompass a variety of cuisines, Tom’s daily inspiration comes from working and interacting with the residents at Highpoint. “We put a lot of love into everything. Our goal is to incorporate both the home-cooked traditions we all grew up with as well as high-end, gourmet options.”
From beautiful buffets to seasonal celebrations, Tom is excited to share his special blend of experience and zest as the community continues to grow. “We are keeping it at a high level to give our residents the quality of food they deserve and make it the best possible experience for them.”
